Happy National School Counseling Week! We are blessed with the best school counselors at Patrick Henry that go above and beyond to help our students learn, grow, and succeed everyday. Our counselors are vital in helping provide guidance and support for both students and staff. Thank you to Mrs. Serck (6th Grade), Mrs. Nelsen (7th Grade), Mrs. Timm (8th Grade) and Mrs. Orris (At-Risk) for being the best of the best!! ❤️

Don't miss the Boys Basketball teams in action this week! Fun Fact - Tuesday is the 100th day of school for students! Make it a great week, Panthers!

Social Studies students on Teams 7-2 and 7-3 recently shared their research on different countries around the world by presenting to fellow students and parents. The World Fair project focused on researching the elements of culture found in every country, such as daily life, religion, language, government, and the arts. Students selected their own presentation style ranging from digital presentations, documentaries, and websites to exhibits, infographics, and scrapbooks. Several groups made a recipe from their chosen country as well. Great job, Panthers!

Officer Ragland, our school resource officer, visited Team 8-1 for a Q & A session and discussed The Bill of Rights with students. It looks like students enjoyed trying on his vest too! Thanks for helping our students learn, Officer Ragland!

Patrick Henry plans to use the funds to provide professional development that focuses on supporting students and their mental health along with providing mental health resources for students and families. Patrick Henry Middle School was awarded during a ceremony at the El Riad Shrine on Saturday, January 25. For more information on Better South Dakota, check out their website: www.bettersd.org
