🌟 Exciting News!! 🌟
We are so excited to share that our Anne Sullivan students are rocking it! Our annual State Report Card came in and our students hard work is paying off.
Our overall score increased from a 51 to a 55! We have improved in all academic areas of reading, science, and math. Our ML (multilingual learners) are also growing and have shown great improvement!
We could not be prouder of all our students hard work and commitment to learning. We thank you as parents and guardians for supporting all of our students and helping them get to school each and every day!

This school year is unlike any other, we cannot stress enough how much ATTENDANCE MATTERS!!
We NEED all of our students at school each and every day to help them learn and grow in all the ways possible! September is a month to focus on school attendance and getting students to school on time, every day.

As an Anne Sullivan school, we want to take a moment to thank Hungry Hearts of Sioux Falls for their generous donation. These snacks will go to support all of our students throughout their school day.

This is a friendly reminder that Kindergarten open house, registration, and before school conferences will be held on Monday, August 17th from 7:30am-5pm. If you already have a scheduled time, we look forward to seeing you. If you need to set up a time, please contact the school and set that time up or come to Anne Sullivan on the 17th and office staff can help you get started.
Due to construction, look for signs and staff to help navigate you the day of the conference.

Lastly, we said goodbye to a few teachers to retired, are moving, or changed positions! We will miss them all!
At Anne Sullivan we are so proud of all the things we have accomplished this year! Our students worked hard every day to learn, grow, and make good choices!

End of the Year Festivities!
Last week we got to enjoy fun at activities at Washington High School! All of our students got to walk to Washington were high school students hosted us with fun games and activities!
On our last day, we had our annual field day! A day full of fun, bouncy houses, face painting, arts and crafts, and so much more! Students had a great time spending the last day with their teachers and friends!

Every spring out EL students take the WIDA test to see how they are doing on their English language skills. Our students worked so hard and did amazing. We had so many students graduate from EL this spring which means they have fabulous skills in both their native language and English as a second language. We are so proud of all of them!
Our EL team got to take them bowling to celebrate. Thank you to our EL teachers for all of their hard work!
